…makes cleaning fun! For the past three years we’ve had a reconditioned Dyson. I know everyone thinks they’re the dog’s dinglies, but to be honest they are the biggest lump of plasticky crap I have ever owned. The slightest knock and our one had lost handles, catches, tools; and the wire had fallen out the back, risking a nasty electric shock or perhaps death! In the end, I think there was more gaffer tape than vac! Anyhow, the day had finally come to consign it to DIY vac status, i.e. to be used for car cleaning and hoovering up bits of sawdust/plaster/tile grout. I’m in the middle of writing my PhD thesis up at the moment and funds aren’t optimum, so spent the day scouring the net for a ‘bargain.’ Well, my sensible planning went out the window when we found Hetty!
Look at her! Look at her pinky perfectness (which, incidentally, is bubblegum pink although the crappy lighting belies it)! She has eyelashes! She uses her nose to suck up dirt! Even her instructions were super-cute!
Flissyphant in particular was very excited about the new arrival, and she and Hetty immediately set about comparing trunk lengths.
Did I mention how much I <3 <3 <3 her?
