A little bit of me :)

Hello! I am a bored 27 year old PhD student who is seeking to divert energies from typing my thesis to typing my blog… I love many things in life, including my cats, my boyfriend Johnny, red wine, chocolate, hairdye and lazing around.  

 I live in Sheffield Leeds (durr have done since Aug 07!) but hail from Blackpool (well Fleetwood to be precise, but saying ‘Blackpool’ lends that touch of class and je ne sais quois). I love all things Northern – the men, the people, the food and the sunshine (it’s a different colour in the South and makes me itch). I’m not that well travelled but, hey, my carbon footprint is minimal! I have recently re-discovered my love of craft and find making things a fabulous way of unwinding after a stressful day conducting research in solitary confinement (i.e. my spare room). I’ve several projects on the go at any one point, some of which will find their way here at some point.
